Global Leakage Summit 2013: Post-Event Report

London Business Conferences would like to take this opportunity to thank all delegates for their attendance and active participation at the Global Leakage Summit 2013 in March. We had an excellent response to the Summit this year and look forward to the next in the series.

Firstly, we would like to say a huge thank you to all the speakers, sponsors and exhibitors for their support, openness and insightful presentations across the two days. The global perspectives and technical and strategic solutions shared at the summit were useful in highlighting the areas that need to be improved to develop faster and more efficient leakage management systems.

We would also like to reserve special thanks for Tony Harding of Suez Environnement International, Jack Carnell of Institute of Water, UK and Tim Door of ABB for their efforts in chairing the conference - I am sure you will agree that they did an exceptional job over the two days, facilitating a continuous flow of highly informative question and answer sessions and providing humour in the Gala Dinner auction.

We are delighted to announce that we made a grand total of £1,670.00 in the auction, which has been donated to WaterAid to enable the charity to continue to reach poor communities with safe water to drink and sanitation. Thank you to Dave Hillyard of WaterAid for attending the event and sharing a clip of their work, and thank you again to our very generous sponsors, exhibitors and delegates for donating prizes, buying raffle tickets and bidding on the night.
