THE ROLE

You will be selling sponsorship on some of North America’s largest commercial conferences within diverse market segments; including oil and gas, water management and social media. You will be responsible for driving forward revenue through these sales, working closely with the Conference Producers and Marketing Managers to produce and implement strategies ensuring maximum revenue. You will be expected to research and develop new business on an international as well as work with an existing client base.

YOU WILL POSSESS

  • A rapid learning ability – our portfolio is diverse – to succeed, you will need to quickly master the operating dynamics of different vertical industries and business topics

  • First class verbal and written communication skills  - you will be pitching CEO’s and Senior VP’s and presenting complex business proposals verbally and in writing

  • An ability to credibly build rapport, ask insightful questions and pick out important pieces of information

  • A talent for managing effective return on investment and cost justification conversations 

  • Highly effective at convincing prospects and customers to make decisions  

  • A genuine desire/expectation to earn six figures and be prepared to do the work necessary to achieve them 

  • Fully verifiable track record of exceeding sales targets and expectations

  • Possess entrepreneurial flair coupled with the desire to be part of a rapidly growing, corporately supported operation
